About us
ASTUDIO was started by me, Rich Hughes. I’m originally from North Wales and now live in Malton, North Yorkshire. For the last two decades, I’ve helped charities of all sizes strengthen their research, monitoring and evaluation.
Over that time, I’ve seen first‑hand how tough this work can be when you’re balancing staff and volunteer time, tight budgets, and growing expectations from funders. I’ve also seen how research, monitoring and evaluation is often made far more complicated than it needs to be - leaving small teams overwhelmed and unsure where to start.
ASTUIDO is my way of helping - making sure small charities, community organisations, CICs, and volunteer‑run projects have simple, practical support they can actually use.
